I know this has been asked before. Windows 2000, latest service packs. Floppy reads correctly on boot, then will not refresh reading the drive. Reports same files or no files. I am looking for a permanent solution and not a work around hopefully. It just suddenly started. Computer has not been opened up. Virus scan is clean. Have not tried new floppy. This is a work system and I will check with IT for a replacement. I just tried it from a Command Prompt from within Windows 2000 and it acted the same way. Not sure if that indicates a bad drive. <br />

Floppy drive will not refresh in Windows 2000
