Hi, CR Experts,

I need your help on getting my crystal report to fax. I am using vs2003 and win app.

I have coded in two ways, but neither worked.
'directly
CrystalReportViewer1.ReportSource = MyRptDoc
MyRptDoc.PrintOptions.PrinterName = "\\faxserv\NetPrintQueue2FAX"
MyRptDoc.PrintToPrinter(1, False, 1, 1)

'to choose a printer
CrystalReportViewer1.PrintReport()

We are using GFI NetPrintQueue2FAX as fax driver. They required to embed the fax number in the document.

The "print doc abx to printer xyz" poped up and went away. Then the reply in the outlook inbox said:

Status: Failed
Date/Time: 12/13/2006 9:50:31 AM
Description: No recipients were found in this message. Fax could not be sent.

If you open the attachment file ntp9d.fax from the reply, you will see the report with the fax number in it.

Printing other Office docs with embed fax to the fax driver functions fine.

The report preview/email as pdf attachment/print to regular printers are all working just fine.

I am asking for help from the vendor as well. One thing they said is that the fax driver doesn't support pdf format.

I saw a post from this site from back to 2002, talking about using crpe32.dll api etc.

Thanks!
