Unknow call call to notes mail server
I have recently clustered several mail servers. Two different end users have mentioned the following strange happening.
When they open an html email message they now notice on their (grey) status bar a call to a cluster member server. The Notes client does not failover to this clsuter member nor is there any apparent reason to make the call...it just says it is contacting the sever and there is no further comms with the server after that.
Any ideas why the notes client may be doing this. All the usual suspects have been looked at:
Location documents, home serer, directory server etc.

perweb.nsf again! good observation! Most are unaware of perweb.nsf and the impact it has on the client. It does save all html calls for email, and caches links, cookies. I usually set the automated actions for this database, to clean out links that have not been accessed, etc.
Wat is the specific problem , besides seeing the status message ?
I hope this helps !
