Lotus 6.5 to 7 upgrade...

Hi All,
Please consider the following and offer any opinions...

(  You should know that I have **zero** experience with Lotus!  )
A customer has a Lotus Notes 6.5 installation.  I understand that it consists of 2 servers, one Win2K and one Win 2003.
I also understand that there are "2 databases", one 40-50 GB in size and the other 300 GB in size.  I have no idea if this is 2 separate installations of Notes or one installation that has 2 separate databases/datastores (or even if a split database is possible...this is what was conveyed to me.

The customer wants to upgrade from 6.5 to version 7.  They also want it done during a 3 day window of opportunity.

My question(s) to you Experts is simply your opinions, based on the above "facts" (it's all I have yet):
1) Is it possible to have one Lotus installation and 2 datastores?  If so in v. 6.5 is it still true in v.7?  do they get combined?
2) Is it realistic to exepct a complete upgrade from 6.5 to 7 in 2 or 3 days with that much data?
3) Is the 6.5 to 7 versions substantially different from a user's point of view?  Does the workstation application change?

Any input anyone chooses to offer is greatly appreciated.  My goal is to get enough of a perspective to try to handle this (with contracted help) or to pass on it completely.
