MSTSC works absolutely fine and rebooting makes no difference. The logon screen comes up ok and everything, but when you logon, notthing appears on the screen at all.

My windows server 2003 screen just displays the background and does not load up on the console, although the server itself seems to function ok and remote desktop connections work fine. <br />

My windows server 2003 screen just displays the background and does not load up on the console, although the server itself seems to function ok and remote desktop connections work fine.

Desktop does not appear after login on the console.

Windows Server 2003 was based on Windows XP and was released in four editions: Web, Standard, Enterprise and Datacenter. It also had derivative versions for clusters, storage and Microsoft’s Small Business Server.
