I can't see a partitioned drive D:

I have a Windows 2000 Server SP3, for some reason I can't see drive D:; Therefore all files created under that directory are not accesible. The Hard drive was formated some time in 2004, so the data stored is big.
Do you have any idea of what could have happened?
