We have SMS 2003 SP2. Can’t really get a solid line on what “Product Compliance” really is or what it does. What I was trying to do is get some entries in the system for basic software packages such as Adobe Acrobat reader with a particular version. I then wanted to query this and see who is “not in compliance” having this version. Is this the way it is supposed to work? When I put an entry in like Windows Defender or Acrobat nothing shows in the reports under compliance. If someone has a good information site about this that they could point me to that would be great.
