When using visual studio to create a ASP.NET web service or a ASP.NET web application, I seem to have problems with it connecting with the server. I can see the directories on the server using IE, but I can't view the contents. I click on it and I get a dialog saying http://www.myserver/folder is no longer available. Also, there is an icon of what looks like a little tree on the folder icon. My webhosting service ( says it supports ASP.NET. I found in the help says: "web folders are only available on servers that support WEC (Web Extender Clients), FrontPage Extentions and Distributed Authoring Versioning (DAV) protocols". I suppose I should ask them if they do, but I was thinking someone could give me some feedback here. I would almost be willing to sign up with another webhosting service that was more reliable if it saves me the grief. Any suggestions?
