Static IP
How can I run a web server at home with a static IP without going to the expense of upgrading my internet connection to a business class ($$). I just want to be able to run my own web server on my network. Can this be done without to much trouble?
Thanks

Yeah as SB states I use www.no-ip.com to host my site www.petenetlive.com

Beaware of two things:
1. Your upload (your web client's "download") will be much slower than your download.
2. It's probably against your acceptable use policy and it would be trivial for your ISP to detect it - so, cavet emptor.

Ok, thanks all. Sounds like I should just use a web host service. They are cheap and secure.
