How can I unsecure an Access 97 database?

I am upgrading an Access 97 split database system to Access 2003.  I need to de-secure it first -- at least the backend -- because I will need to temporarily have some users on each version of Access.  In other words, I'll need to allow them to continue using the Access 97 front end until I am sure the Access 2003 front end works well.

I HATE Access security, so if you point me to a white paper that gives a three-line description of what to do, it won't help -- I need more of a step-by-step.

Thanks in advance!
