Installing .Net framework 1 and 2 at the same time
I have a variety of Windows 2003 Servers in which I've been able to install the .NET 2.0 framework side by side with the version 1 framework.
I'm trying to install .NET 1 framework on a server, however the machine won't let me install it as it thinks its already installed. Clearly it is not installed, and I can't select between the 2 .NET versions in IIS - I can only select .Net 2.0. Windows tells me to install updates via Windows Update, however nothing is found to install.
Can anyone tell me how I can get 1 installed? Not sure why this one machine is giving me trouble. IS there a registry entry somewhere that needs to be removed?

It doesn't appear in add/remove. Only 2.0. I've tried uninstalling 2.0 and installing 1.1 first - same dialog box prompts me and tells me it is already installed with my OS.
Also, I see the following folders, however within IIS I still cannot choose version 1:
1033
v1.0.3705
v1.1.4322
v2.0.50727

Have you tried uninstalling from control panel, add/remove?
