Greetings,

I have users that no longer have access to certain local and mapped drives because they chose to no longer have the "Client File Security" window prompt or basically chose to not ask again.  Mind you, this is thru the internal network, not via the web (webica).  How do I get these users to re-establish the Client file security window.

Have them right click in the top blue area of the window of their citrix session and change their settings.

I'm sorry...Can you be a little bit more specific?  I'm not sure where exactly are you talking about.  Are you saying that a user can change their permissions (ICA Client File Security)?

Commented:
For each session or in general yes.

The top blue area of the citrix session or window.  The X box is on the far right side.  Place the cursor in that area at the top and right mouse click.  You should see a menu appear.  One of the options is to change your security session settings.

I'm terribly sorry...But the only thing I see when I right click there is Move, Size, Minimize, Maximize, Resize Session, Resize Window, Connection Status and Close...

Also, if you're referring to the Open Connection Settings, they're greyed out unfortunetly.... i.e., disconnect, full screen, properties, file security, etc....

Mine shows the following in order from top to bottom.  Restore, Move, Size, Minimize, Maximize, File Security Status, Audio Security Status, Reize Session, Resize Window, Connection Status, Close.

You may have a different setting on the server.  Are you publishing only an application or the desktop?

Commented:
Without access to the file security you will be hard pressed to change the settings.  You may need to temporarily give more access to the user so they can change that setting.

RDAdams,

You've been more than helpful and thoughtful for assisting me in this.  I thank you so much for all your support.  My colleagues here at work figured out that its a possible policy or DISA setting that may be blocking us from accessing those options you mentioned.  Currently still researching on that fact.

Thank you again...
