Old VB.NET program runs on my PCs, but not on the customer's PC

We have a small VB.NET program written in 2002 and has been running fine until the customer PC had to be reimage due to a virus.  We are not trying to make it work on another PC at the customer site.  They are in another state by the way.

We had them install the program and .NET Framework.  We have tried both 1.1 and 2.0 .NET Framework at the customer's PC.  The program seems to run flawlessly in my office PC.  But when we run it on their PC, we get the following message:

"IDXIn.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close.  We are sorry for the inconvenience."

Since it runs in our office, but not in theirs.  I have to think they are missing something in their environment.  Help!

Not sure which version of VS.NET.  We haven't develop .NET program since.  On my computer, in trying to reproduce the proble.. I removed framework 2.0. Downloaded and installed 1.0. Then run the program. I get "MSCOREES.DLL could not be loaded to display the error message. Please re-install .NET Framework."
