my code? i dun use any code.
i am using enterprise manager to do the import/export.

first, i export the table from sql server located at my server into MS Access file.
then i copy the MS Access file into my notebook and trying to import the table into the sql server on my notebook.
i thought that it is just a very straight forward thing to do..
You would think so, but I am afraid I have no idea.
See if this helps:
FIX: You receive an EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION error message when you try to save a DTS package in SQL Server 2000
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/830773

And yes you are using DTS.

On second thoughts, that is unrelated.

Sorry I could not help more and good luck.
;-(
how exactly are you trying to do this?
what version of sql server / service pack?
>>how exactly are you trying to do this?
i did everything in Enterprise manager. right click, all task, Import Data/ Export Data

>>what version of sql server / service pack?
