Outlook 2003 Stand Alone Will Not Install! Stuck at "Launching Windows Installer"
Just to give you a little more detail on what's going on. When the disk is installed it gets as far as "launching windows installer" and then just sits there with my cpu @ 100% activity. I let it sit overnight last night to see if it was just slow but it was still sitting there when I got up.
When I got the computer, it had an Office 2003 Trial, and was uninstalled after the trial period to install Office 97, which is the only Office installed and being used on my computer.
I've tried sticking in another misc program, and it goest through the motions fine. Thinking it was the disk, I had my friend try on his laptop and it worked fine.
If anyone can help this clueless dude, it would be so appreciated.
THANK YOU!!!

Thank You war1~
Worked like a charm. I didn't even know that the installer was a removable component. Thank you for the quick response, and I'm sorry my acceptance wasn't so speedy. Got up and running, and went straight to catching up with my online class!
Awesome!
