2gb limit on users account - can it be increased?
We have an exchange 2003 server and we often put limits on the the sizes of mailbox's for users.
A few users however, need excessive limits, and are already hitting the 2gb maximum that is allowed.
My question is, is there a way to increase this limit, say to large tabel support of 4gb on the Exchange 2k3 server.

Mailbox limits cannot be above 2GB

Fraid not, we already know about that, but the theoretical max limit using ADU&C is 2gb - if you try and put anything higher in, you get a warning that the limit is 2097151kb
I have found a method using ADSI edit, but that is far from suitable - would prefer an official microsoft recommended method rather than playing about with ADSIEdit.

Wow I've never seen that limit thanks guys. This is what I luv about this site. Thanks again.
Since you mention this could be done via ADSI Edit then can I guess this is a limit in the AD Users and Computer interface so something like ADModify.net might also work?

Thanks redseatechnologies, think this is probably the best method to go through.
You can set limits for individual mailboxes through ADU&C so some users have larger limits or different restrictions than others - is that what you are looking for?
