Public Folder Replication

Simple question - Is it possible to replicate public folders across different domains (if a trust is in place and if one is not in place).  I imagine if it is possible that a trust would have to be in place and the appropriate permissions would have to be set on each server.

Thanks

Unless the servers are in the same Exchange org, then you cannot replicate the data.
With Exchange 200x the Exchange org is constrained by the forest, so the fact that you have mentioned trusts means separate forests.

Therefore public folder replication is not possible. I know you can replicate the GAL using MIIS from Microsoft, but I don't think Public Folders is possible.

But you could still export to PST and import on the other server.  Or were you thinking of replication for backup purposes?

While you could do an import/export - the folder will be out of date very quickly if users are adding and removing content.

I was actually think more along the lines of moving the folder from one server to another in his particular case.  I was not suggesting this be used as a method of keeping two folders on two separate servers in sync.

Thanks Guys.  I think exporting the folders across will do as the need for them to be up to date is not that great.  It would have been nice to have some redundancy there, but hey ho.

Take care,
