Apologies if this is the wrong area but EE don't seem to deem Cisco of being worthy of their own slot.<br />

I have been trying to reconfigure one of these units that natively require a Cisco controller but that i need to work in auotonomous mode so I have placed the c1240-k9w7-tar.default image file in the root dir of a Cisco TFTP server,connected the unit ot a hyperterminal connection, held down the mode button while powering up and allowed the AP to boot. It searches for the image named as above. The CL tells me it is examining the image ...fttp://255.255.255.255/<wbr />c1240-k9w7<wbr />-tar.defau<wbr />lt then gets a connection time-out and proceeds to boot as normal.<br />
