ERD COMMANDER WON'T RESET PASSWORD

I have a WINDOWS 2003 SERVER using sata drives and a sata raid card.
I had to connect both sata drives directly to the on-board connectors to get the ERD commander to recognize the drives.

The client lost their admin password and when i select Locksmith to change it- I get an error about something not being able to copy correctly.
I've used ERD for many yrs now without any problems - have never seen where i can't change /reset an admin account.

I know my ERD Disk is good b/c i can use it on  other systems.

If this does not work- i'll have to format and reload the OS.

THANKS.
