cannot share printer

I have a computer running windows XP, that is running web-hosting services, therefore, it is on the "Web Client Network" (one of the options under My Network Places--->Entire Network). The name of the computer is kenh. If I search for the name of that computer on my laptop, I find it, and it says that it is in folder: "Web Client Network". If I try to open the computer, it shows nothing. I used to be able to share the printer before I installed the web services onto it. Is it still possible for me to share the printer??

on your laptop, in the printers folder, did you right click your printer and choose "share" and then assign the share a name and privileges?
I don't know of any reason why it shouldn't work. Web services and printing services are not directly related.
If your printer is properly shared on the hosting computer as fhmc suggests, try manually adding the printer using the share name.

Control Panel -> Printers & Faxes -> Add A Printer
Choose "network printer"
Select "connect to this printer" and type in the direct share name in the "name" box.
Usually it'll be similar to:    \\kenh\myprinter
Where 'myprinter' is the name of the printer share you've setup on the hosting computer.
Complete the rest of the questions and you should be set to go.

If it still doesn't work and/or says it can't find the printer, then there might be something blocking you from gaining access to the printer. Disable any and all firewall/antivirus software (including Windows firewall) as a temporary measure to see if they are blocking it.

Finally, if all else fails, some of the services or networking protocols must have gotten messed up. And that's not as easy to troubleshoot...
Go to printers folder > right click your printer and choose "share" and then assign the share a name.
 OR
Go to ----Control Panel > Printers & Faxes > Add A Printer Then Seletct the "network printer" option Then Select "connect to this printer" and type in the direct share name in the "name" Option

I hope your problem will be solved in either of the ways.
Good luck
