Monitor

My computer's monitor goes to sleep after 5 minutes if I am not working on the computer.  After I come back and shake the mouse or press any button it does not come back. It remains as sleep. The way I get it back is turn off the monitor and turn it back on. I am not sure what is causing this problem. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

Looks like a monitor problem.
Check monitor settings.
Are there any software settings in the monitor which could  put the monitor to sleep.

I am getting this error on the monitor after I use the compute about 2-3minutes: "No VGA Input". The monitor goes blank and displays this masg. Any help will be aprreciated. Thanks.
We have already suggested that your monitor is broken - have you tried another monitor?
Hello Call,
Yes it is broken. It remains on for a while and then goes off. After it is turned on for the first time it will remain on for about 10-15 minutes and then it will start go off. Even if I turn it off and turn back on it remains on noly for couple of munutes. Can you tell me specifically what is wrong in that monitor? Thanks a lot.
