OK.
I'm running Ubuntu6.10 on a Sony Vaio. I want to connect to cisco devices. My Sony doesn't have a Serial port so I use a serial(db9) to USB adapter.
I can connect to any device just fine. I can get the >prompt and everything. I can configure any router, switch ...whatever.   BUT.

I cannot send a ctrl-break to get to rommon# mode.

I have tried minicom,GTKterm... All works fine except sending a crtl-break.

I hope this all makes sense.
