Faking your global IP

Last Modified: 2011-09-20
Back when i worked at a hospital, they had it set up where if you went to say...grc.com...or any other site that told you your IP, it was always a spoofed random IP. If you tried to ping it, nothing would happen. Mostly it was just misleading. I have the pix set up to be very quiet and it doesn't respond to anything traffic that didnt originate from the inside. However, I noticed that my global IP still shows up sometimes on random websites..how can I change that?
