How to do Security assessment / or / Network security assessment ?
Dear All,
I am moving to New IT Service company.
I am going to work as Technical Manager.
we are a company that doing an IT Services to the Customers outside.
My Manager asked me yesterday, that i will work with him in new business cycle from our main business cycle for the company & its called { Security Assessment or Network Security Assessment } .
he said we will go to the clients & we will try to make a business from them by doing Network security Assessment or General Security Assessment .
so my question is, becuase i am still new to this business, i want from you or any one, to tell me what is this study consist of & what is the report consist of & how to prepare it & what tools used for that issue .
I mean , i want to have a ROAD-MAP to this study.
so, when i visit the client , what i am going to do & what i will do .
Please guide me to this

jakopriit, you are exactly right. In fact I would say that without the proper knowledge it is far too easy to open yourself up to law suits.

Exactly, every conceivable skill and experience is a key to success in this specific field.
Havent used XACTA personally but I do have associates that have, good product from what I hear.
