Experts,

I would like to offer offsite mail filtering to our clients but I can’t work out how I can configure Exchange 2003 to work the way I need. What I need is Exchange to except all connections so any RDNS lookups on outbound emails will work however I only want Exchange to accept / deliver mail from only 2 Public IP addresses which will be our filters.

I thought all I would need to do is go to ESM > default SMTP Virtual Server > Access > Relay > select “Only the list below” and add the Public IP’s I need in that list. I stopped and started SMTP but it seems to have had no effect so I also restarted exchange services with no change.

The Exchange server is behind a Pix with "no fixup smtp 25" applied although it shouldn't have any effect.

I spent a while playing around but no luck. Any help you could give would be much appreciated.

Thanks.
