i am trying to configure an SBS2003 server to allo0w connection via rpc over http, i have followed various different config descriptions including msexchange.org and Sembee's amsnet. I get it to the point that i am trying to configure the client computer and when it trys to connect it asks for the username and password of the account on the remote network, and i answer it correctly and it loops and asks it again, This appears to be a never ending loop.

i have run the rpcping test from the toolkit and it reported everything good and test passed with a responce in 200msec.

so i am not sure where to go from here.

if i type in the web address https://www.company.com.au/rpc i get asked for a username and password and when i respond to this i get the error 403.2 - Forbidden: Read access is denied Which is the correct behaviour.

I am pretty sure that the server is not running service pack 1 on the exchange, so feel that is likley the answer, but it should work regardless.

Does anyone have any idea's?
