DFS configuration question

Hi,

We've just recently setup DFS on our domain. Our Windows domain is company.com which is of course the same as our email/website and so company.com points to an external IP of the website (yes, I know should have used .local :)

So now while the DFS does work fine we're seeing soe timeouts and Offline folder oddities I'm sure is caused by this.

Question is can we create a second domain (company.local) or subdomain (int.company.com which we'd never us ourside the internal network) that we would use for our DFS namespace that would only need to say create a trust or something simple where by we're using our current domain permissions etc on?

Thanks

Ray
