IE would not display a site
Systen Spec: IE 6 with SP 2 on windows 2000.
One of our user’s can’t access a secure site starting with https://www.
However, can access this site perfectly well on other machines so it not firewall problem as this user has full access. I have since discovered that I cannot access the same site on another machine with the same spec as they are all imaged to company standard.
Any idea

is the http-ssl service running?
you could also try delete and renew the user profile and see if it will work.
did you use group policy? possibly any special security rules in there which will mot allow to access secure sites?
does it work with another browser? if so try to update your iexplorer
