IE Pop-Ups when clicking Email Link
I have multiple computers that when click a Email link from a website or within Outlook, instead of opening a new Email message box will open multiple upon multiple IE windows. Thoughts?

Then register the DLL files as mentioned in http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;Q281679&sd=tech
If no joy, a program is interfering or a file in IE7 is corrupt.
1. Disable Addons. Go to Tools > Add-on Manager, and uncheck the addons.
2. Reset IE settings. Go to Tools > Internet Options > Advanced. Click on "Reset" button. Click OK. Close all browsers. Reboot the computer.
3. Check if a program running in the background is interfering with Internet Explorer. Temporarily disable antivirus, firewall, antispyware, ad-blocker, popup blocker, and all Norton programs.
4. Uninstall and reinstall IE7. Make sure you have the latest updates.

This problem occurs if you are running IE6 and IE7 in a side by side configuration that is not unsupported. Uninstall IE7.
Make sure your settings are correct as follows:
Go to My Computer\view\folder options.
Click the file types tab.
In list of file types, click the one that we need to change which is
url:mailto protocol.
Click Edit.
In Actions, click Open then Edit.
In Application used to perform action, type the following, including the
quotes marks:
"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office11\Outlook.ex
http://groups.google.com/group/microsoft.public.windows.inetexplorer.ie5.outlookexpress/msg/9f391dd54f4a6142?hl=en

I got it. After uninstalling 7 then re-installing it works.
