I have been testing out SQL Server 2005 and MOSS 2007. &nbsp;I initially installed MOSS 2007, then installed SQL Server 2005 for the tools, but inadvertantly installed the db server, as well. &nbsp;I now have the following instances:<br />

SPS02\officeservers<br />
ver 9.0.2047<br />

SPS02\SPS02<br />
ver 9.0.1399<br />

ver 9.0.1399<br />

I believe MOSS installs an embedded database, which is why it probably has a different verison number. &nbsp;In add/remove, I have the following:<br />

MS SQL Server 2005 Analysis Services ADOMD.NET<br />
MS SQL Server 2005 backward Compatibility<br />
MS SQL Server Native Client<br />
MS SQL Server Setup Support Files<br />
MS SQL Server VSS Writer<br />
MS Office SharePoint Server 2007<br />
