Hi guys!

Hope you can help.

I have a text file which has a list of computers that are flagged as not having a particular service running.
The text file is one column wide.
eg.

pc1
pc2
pc3
etc etc

Lets say the service name is called "cron"

What Id like to do is:

1) Develop a vbs script that reads the text file with computer names
2) For each one, starts the service
3) On completion of the script, writes output on status to a new created text file with 2 columns

eg.

pc1 .......cron service started
pc1 .......cron service started
pc1 .......cron service started
pc1 .......cron service started (or failed)

Thanks guys.

Simon
