slow PC to Mac file transfer via wifi
I have a wXP pro laptop and a mac mini osx 10.4.3
They are connected to a netgear wpn824
they both get decent speeds over the internet (roughly 2mbps)
the mac mini is connected via wifi and the laptop is hard wired
however when I connect my laptop to my mac to xfer files the transfer speed is extremely slow. took 2 minutes to transfer 3MB
any ideas?
btw
I have the router set to use channel 1 and I have MAC address filtering enabled. Other than those, everything is default (including no WEP)
again, there are no issues connecting to wifi or surfing net, just very slow Windows File Sharing speeds

the mac is .11g
the pc is wired.
I am connecting via IP
I tried it again and it went a bit faster, but still slow.
I am going to try them both wired soon.
