Hi All

This is a SBS 2003 / 2003 standard question.

Firstly an overiew.

My SBS 2003 is the domain controller (ofcourse) and it is running RWW to the web. I also have a 2003 Server working as a TS and people connect to it via RWW (connect to my companies application sharing server).

The problem:

In order to transfer files between a local computer and a TS session i need to edit the Remote Desktop Connection settings. Through RWW you do not get this option as it connects straight away. From what i have read (which may be wrong) but i need to go into the Remote Desktop Connection, go to the Local Resources Tab and put a tick in Disk Drives.

Can i set this to hapen automatically through RWW or will i have to forward some ports and have my users connect straight to the TS.... which i would rather not do as it will confuse them (have made a lot of changes and had settled on working through everything using RWW).

I originally thought that if i selected "connect client drives" under Environment in the user properties this would do it, however it doesnt seem to work like that!

Regards

Gavin

How did you install your TS. If you follow this white paper most of what you are after is automatic: https://www.microsoft.com/canada/smallbiz/products/sbs/terminalservices.mspx
Also did you join the TS with the add server wizard. You should.
Hope that helps,
