DFS Replication Speed working?

ohmErnie asked

I have just configured about 5 replication groups.  Initially I created a few folders to place in the replicating folders and they were replicating fine.  Then I moved some real data into one of the replicating folders and it began to replicate...slowly.  Now if I create a single folder it does not appear to be replicating, but my guess is it is in a queue.  Is there a way to check and see what is in queue or determine if the replication is really work?  Also, is it possible to speed of the replication?

Yesterday I put a 1GB file into one of the replicating folders and it has yet to appear on the other end.  However, I just created a new folder and it automatically appeared on the other end.  Any reason why this is?

Where is the DO_NOT_REMOVE_NtFrs_PreInstall_Directory located?
it's a hidden folder under each FRS root folder. For sysvol, by default, it's under
