SonicWall VPN Issue - Received unencrypted packet while crypto active

Hello,
I am having trouble with getting connected through our VPN. We use a Sonicwall SOHO3 and use a Group VPN. Very simple set up with preshared secret. I only have one user who only uses it to sync his mail. I have recently replaced his laptop with a new one. I now cannot get the *&%^$ thing to connect to the VPN. The old laptop was running XP as is the new one. I did find that the old laptop only had SP1 on it and that is the only difference I see as the new one has SP2. Every time I try to connect the log on the Sonic shows the start of phase1 negotiation then shows this message:

Received unencrypted packet while crypto active

It will then simply show client timeouts. Enable IKE Dead Peer Detection is checked and Enable NAT Traversal is not. Any help on this would be very much appreciated. I like the Sonicwall but do not care much for their support, or lack of.

Thanks in advance
