I am unable to browse the network while i am connected to the VPN but i am able to ping my company's file server and Domain controller and also I am able to RDP to these servers but when I try to browse the network i get an error message that the network path not found and i tried accessing through the ip address too.
I have a linksys router WRVS4400n and i have a domain controller setup with windows 2003. I have opened port 1723 and port 500 and also port 139 too. When I try to synchronize my files as I have file synch enabled then it ask me for my username and password and when I put my domain credentials in it does not atke it.

Thanks in advance
Watch Question

are you putting the credentials in the form domain/username

So you have a VPN setup on a windows box?? conecting directly to the 2003 server passing through the linksys?

When you try and connect to the server are you typing in \\"serverIP" or \\serverhostname

Ok this router is a VPN router and it lets me create the user name and password on the router and then I use the linksys quick Connect software to connect to the router with my company's static Ip address  and also I use my domain/username and also the server with the ip address \\server ip\ . I hope I explained it correctly and also I called linksys and they said that i need to set something on my domain controller

Ok I just wanted to let everyone one know that  i resolved the issue. I was getting user name and password window because right now my VPN router does not route the connections through the domain controller so the file server is asking for the credentials and so i had to create local account and then it lets me connect to the file server
