550 5.0.0 Message Rejected when sending to a specific email

For the past 2 days I am not able to email to my kid's school from any of my computers, regardless of where I am.  Have never had this problem before until now.  The school said it is not filtering any emails.

Also, it seems that I can respond to the school's email, but I cannot create a new email from scratch.
FYI, there was no difference whether Norton Internet Security was on or off; same problem.

Below is the message I keep getting.

   ----- The following addresses had permanent fatal errors -----
<bcarmi@tarbut.com>
    (reason: 550 5.0.0 Message Rejected)

   ----- Transcript of session follows -----
.... while talking to mail.tarbut.com.:
>>> DATA
<<< 550 5.0.0 Message Rejected
554 5.0.0 Service unavailable

Thanks

Hi,

Many systems impose a quota on the amount of disk space each user's mail box may use. If a user on such a system exceeds his quota the mail system refuses to accept any more mail for him. The error "554 5.0.0 Service unavailable" is thrown when the disk quota exceeds the allowed limit.
The message is being rejected by the remote server. Therefore the school is wrong in that they are not filtering the message. If the message was not being filtered then it would be delivered.

If this is happening via multiple sources, then the recipient's server (the school) needs to investigate why.

I am able to email them using an outside email client, Webmail, but not my usual, Incredimail.  This is all new, since I was always able to email them before via Incredimail.

I am the only one they say with this problem.

Also, if they email me and I respond to that email, they will receive it!  They just can't receive my new emails from scratch
That may mean that the issue is with your client. The message that you are getting back is one where the message ha been blocked by the spam filter.
Have you tried using another email client - Thunderbird or Outlook Express for example?

Simon.
1.Are you saying that it is the school's spam filter that is blocking my email client?

2. The strange thing is that this has never happened before.

3.  I did try my other email client, hotmail and they did receive my hotmail.

4.  Does the error code tell you anything?
