Dear Experts,

I have recently installed and configured an Exhcange Server 2003 into our organisation.

Everything is going well and has been running now for almost a month.

I have configured Exchange to "Send a copy of a Non Delivery report to:" my own email address. This was setup under the Server Name/Protocols/SMTP and then Default SMTP Virtual Server properties.

This had been working well during the first 3 weeks. I would get a copy anytime someone was sending an email to our organisation which had either left, spelt wrong or generally has a different email address.

I would get at least 20 to 40 a day for various reasons which I was happy with.

Last week some users had mentioned that were clients were getting bounce backs due to the email session size from the Exchange Server. I have amended the settings for emails over a certain file size and also emails that are of a certain session size.

Since I have made that change I have noticed that I do not receive any NDR emails to my inbox. I have sent an email from my home account with intentionally mis-spelling my name. I recieved a bounce back, but I never recieved a NDR to my work address.

I can't see how changing the file size and session limits would effect the NDR's coming through.

Can anyone help with this at all?

Kind regards,
Ross.
