I have a program built on access, i have a couple of my managers that need to access some of the information on our network while they are offsite, so i have set up a link from the access program to the certain file they need. there's is a problem, when the link is opened the folder pops up but there it is a explorer window which has a sub menu on the side that shows the rest of the network. now to access most of these files they need to be administrators in our network, but i dont want them to access my payrol, or the pricing. These guys are not the most computer savy but if they happen to take a realy good look over on the side they will see the rest of my folders with payrol and pricing. is there any way to take off the left side of the folder which shows the rest of our folders??
