Hello,

I recently installed Mysql 5, during the setup I was asked to assign a password.

When I was using version 4 of the software, I was able in dos to setup a username and password using

mysqladmin -uroot password somepassword

I tried this in version 5 but it was not possible to set a username using mysqladmin

Could anyone advise how to set the username and change the password in dos?

Thank you
