Hi friend

I am trying to install websphere on the server. Here we need to use root but we dont not have direct access root. admin has create sudo commands that I can execute.
I want to execute some more command that are not there in sudo list.
Is there a way I can create my own sudo. It very important. This problem is repeating all the time.
Can you please help me How to execute command from root. Bcoz for my ID I dont have access to root.
I need help so that I can go to root and execute some commands that are not there in sudo list.

Thanks

I tried using su using sudo.... but time when we for get to tell admin to add command to access files...
We need to wait until admin gives permission or adds commands to sudo...
This is time consuming and work is getting pending...
Is there a way we can access root and execute command if admin has not given root access...
No there's no way! Otherwise unix would not be considered secure anymore!
