URGENT - Tomcat not show JSP errors.

I have a very simple JSP page setup on Tomcat 6.

<%@ page import="org.apache.jcs.*, java.sql.*" errorPage="" %>
<%
String a = "here";
try {
      JCS cache = JCS.getInstance("phraseCache");
      a = "got cache region";
} catch ( Exception ex ) {
      a = ex.toString();
}
%>
Result - <%= a %>

When I view the page all I get is a blank page. I know there is an error occurring on (JCS cache = JCS.getInstance("phraseCache");) because when I comment it out the page works fine.

I have searched all the logs and I cannot find the error ANYWHERE!!! I've been at this for hours!!

Whats going on??

Thanks

Matt
