Ok, all you gurus of printers.  What is one of the slickest, fastest laser printers and scanner that I can get under $1000.00.  If I choose your recommendation, you get the points.

You didn't specify black&white or color, networked or not networked.
:
Assuming not networked:
B/W - HP LaserJet 4250 - 45 ppm, 200,000 pages/month
color - HP Color LaserJet 3800 - 22 ppm, 65,000 pages/month

Networked:
B/W - HP LaserJet 3005x - 35ppm, 100,000 pages/month
color - HP Color LaserJet 3800n - 22 ppm, 65,000 pages/month

Yes, as you can tell I like HP's printers.  They've been quality printers for us for many years.

I agree with michko on the mono printers. However, if you're looking for colour, try the Xerox Phaser 6300. It runs at 26 ppm, it's networked and produces better output than anything HP can offer. If you've got a bit more money, and want even more speed, try the Phaser 6350 (36 ppm).

I might add that I would never recommend a high speed laser without networking. USB is more trouble than it's worth, and parallel will slow down both the printer and the PC.

What do you guys think of the Dell 3115CN?

Also, do you have any All-in-One recommendations?

I don't really like Dell printers. Support can be difficult, and they are just rebadged printers from other suppliers anyway. As for all-in-ones, look at the HP 3390. It's not as fast (22 ppm) but at least it's networked.

How about an All-In-One with color printing?

Look at the Epson CX11N or, if you are in the Asia/Pacific region, the Fuji Xerox C2090. Both are networked and run at 5 ppm colour, 25 ppm black. They share the same print engine which produces superb prints. The price should be well within your limit of $1000 (if that's US$, anyway)
