How to preserve hyperlinks in PageMaker for PDF
One of our users creates a document in Adobe PageMaker. This document is hundreds of pages long and has more than that many hyperlinks to webpages and e-mail addresses. When she saves it/converts it to PDF, none of the links are active. When the PDF is opened (with Adobe Reader), the links act as regular text. What is the proper/best way to make the document have the hyperlinks? Is the problem being made in PageMaker or is it in the finished PDF when opened by Reader? And is there a way to make the changes GLOBAL so that not every link needs to be "touched" one at a time?
Thanks.
Thanks.

As long as they are using version 6.5 or later this should be very strait forward. When creating the PDF you should have an option to turn the links on or off.
