Check Disc error
I have a partition (200 GB) which when I try to defragment I receive an error message telling me that I must first do a check disc scan due to inconsistencies.
When I do the check disc the process seems to get stuck on stage 4 of 5 which is chk dsk verifying file data stage 4 of 5.
The partition contains movies, music, photos and a variety of other data and exe files but no operating system.
Is there any way I can rectify this problem?
