Greetings,

I am allowed to select "Max CPU Usage" and "Power Failure Safety" check boxes.  What are the advantages/disadvantages of each setting?

Also, my keys are not appearing in the listbox and just the "New Passphrase User" checkbox is active.  What is that exactly?

Thanks,
Bob

I see the downside to MaxCPU Usage.  What's the up-side?

And I see the up-side to Power Failure Safety.  What's the downside?

Scratch those questions.  PGP explains it.  But do either Max CPU Usage or Power Failure Safety have any impact to the performance after the Whole Disk Encryption is complete?

Thanks,
Bob

I don't know of any 'performance hit'. Writing the Power Failure log, might add a tad to the load, but I doubt if you will ever notice. Just remember to flush the log every so often.
