MSExchange Event Log Error 12800
Running Exchange 2003 SP2 on SBS 2003 SP2. I get the application log error MSExchangeIS Event ID=12800
"Message processing failed because there is not enough available memory (8007000E-80000000)."
I cannot find any information on this error and it is stoping the receipt of email. I need help!!
Has anyone delt with this, or can someone offer any suggestions?
Thanks,
SK

I assume you already defragged the exchange DB.
According to some blogs this is the only time the/3Gb switch is applicable. It is fairly controversial.
"You may want to set the /3GB and /userva=3030 switches in BOOT.INI. This allocates more memory to the user mode, as opposed to the kernel, and may proactively prevent virtual memory from being used up"
Can't hurt to try.

olafdc,
If you run the SBS BPA it says you cannot put the /3GB switch. It is not recommended onn SBS

MM - olafdc,
I've already been through the KB's. I was hoping to locate someone who has experienced this issue before I go to MS for help.
Thanks.
