VB6 ADO - Null values at the end of a Combo Box dropdown list.

Last Modified: 2013-11-25
I'm using VB6 and ADO. I'm populating 4 combo boxes via sql statements in the code. Each combo box acts as a filter to the list of the others. All of the combo boxes lists' populate correctly but one. This one's list is populated with the proper output of the sql statement however it also has a bunch of null or blank values at the end of the list that don't seem to be generated by this sql statement. I've checking the output of the sql statement on TOAD versus what's in the list.  I populate the list of each combo box only when it has focus and clear the lists and reload all when a 'CLEAR' button is selected. The logic works great for 3 of the 4 combo boxes. The problem combo box has a much longer list than the other 3 Combo boxes. It also has 2 colums (with one hidden) versus 1 column in the other 3 combo boxes.
