Extract filename from a full path in Excel

I want the text from some point on to the right end to show.
I have a cell that has the following text in it.

http://www.somewebsite.com/somefolder/somefile/thisfile032154.xls
http://www.somewebsite.com/somefolder/somefile/thisfile032asdf154.xls
http://www.somewebsite.com/somefolder/somefile/thisfile032154.da.xls
....

I want to cut the filename out of each and put it in a column to the right.
I've been struggling to get the =RIGHT() function to do this, but since the filename length is constantly changing I can't seem to get it.

Any ideas.
thanks
david

To pull just the file name:

=RIGHT(A1,LEN(A1)-FIND("|",SUBSTITUTE(A1,"/","|",LEN(A1)-LEN(SUBSTITUTE(A1,"/","")))))
