Office 2003 is asking for ZF612707.CAB which is not on the disk

Office 2003 is asking for ZF612707.CAB which is not on the disk. I just reloaded XP and Office 2003 and did the updates. The darn thing won't work because it can't find the listed CAB file anywhere. Other sites say to Detect and Repair but it is asking for it there too. What should I do now?

After a Google search, I discovered the "CAB not on CD" error is common, but MS doesn't have a fix yet. So, I simply uninstalled the pre-installed version of Office, and then re-installed from the CD that came with my system. End of problem.

I found no good information on any of my searches and didn't want to reinstall Office so I ran ran PCOnPoint that seemed to correct the error. I figure it must have been some tangling registry error problem.

The ZF612707.CAB is hard to find. The later version of the OEM CD does not have this file. Found this in version installed on 11th March 2005. Not sure how to attach the file here. Email me if you still need the file. sam88kid@gmail.com.
